 This song was Chubby Checker's follow-up to his massive hits "The Twist" (1960) and "Let's Twist Again" (1961).
    It capitalizes on the twist dance craze but introduces a slower, more romantic tempo-hence "slow twistin'."
    The song reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in late 1962 and also hit #2 on Billboard's R&B chart.
