 This song is particularly notable because it was produced by Paul McCartney, making it one of the few post-Beatles collaborations between the two former bandmates.
When Ringo was recording his album Stop and Smell the Roses, he worked with several high-profile producers, each taking charge of different tracks. Paul McCartney and his wife, Linda, produced three songs for the album, including "I'll Still Love You." Paul also played bass, piano, and provided backing vocals on the track, giving it a distinct McCartney-esque, melodic soft-rock feel.

 Despite the title, this is not a cover of Bruce Channel's 1962 hit "Hey! Baby" (which Ringo did famously perform with the All-Starr Band in later years). This is an original Ringo song.
   The song features a rare, brief drum solo from Ringo in the middle section - a treat for fans, as he rarely took extended drum breaks even in The Beatles.
