Donny Osmond is an American singer who was a teen idol in the early 1970s. He began his career in show business as a member (along with his four older brothers) of the musical group "The Osmonds", which he joined very young, in 1963 - at the age of 6. Donnie, due to his "well-groomed good looks", was often singled out among his brothers as the object of the girls' greatest adoration.
